About Our Foundation
Dream Home Contest is a service provided by the We Are Communities Foundation. An organization dedicated to creating change for the benefit of families and the communities that they live in. Our changing economy has had clear and unprecedented impacts on our nation’s families, their lifestyle, and the communities where they live. We have witnessed families throughout the country losing their homes and jobs. We have seen well established businesses permanently shut down due to changes in consumer buying habits.
These changes directly impact the communities where people live. The programs first to be cut from city budgets include parks & recreations, cultural events, and educational events. These programs are critical to the development of our young children to become responsible adults and good citizens. We are confident in our ability to make a change and your support is greatly appreciated.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support community based mentorship and leadership programs that enrich the lives of a community and support growth of small to medium-sized businesses. Our community programs are based around education, professional development, leadership, and community development. We are able to accomplish our mission through the following activities:
- Direct involvement with community leaders and sponsors
- Deploying leadership sponsorships with local athletic programs
- Changing attitudes of educational leaders as to how they mentor our children
- Supporting marketing campaigns to raise the awareness of community businesses – Bridging the gap between local businesses and the people that live in their community
- Provide a path of growth for our youth that instills responsibility and accountability
We are able to accomplish these goals by offering innovative social marketing services for local community businesses and hosting contests, such as Dream Home Contest. This contest is available to anyone over the age of 18 and gives us considerable information that allows us to help you and your associated community.
How to Enter a Contest
To enter a Dream Home Contest, please complete the contest entry form and answer the questions related to your story. You will also have the option to upload a video about your story.
